Yalgoo & Dalgaranga Projects

Both located in Western Australia and cover >1,750 km2 in the highly prospective Murchison region with known LCT pegmatites together with a strong rubidium association.

Located near Geraldton Port in the growing Mid-West mining region of WA & close to all necessary infrastructure.

Firetail has identified a +25km “Goldilocks Zone” at Yalgoo confirmed to host Lithium Caesium-Tantalum (LCT) pegmatites, with historic results up to 3.75% Li2O.

Maiden drilling program completed over an area of just 1km by 2km, intersecting multiple wide zones of pegmatite. Assay results confirm high-grade Rubidium which warrants further investigation.  Includes 10m @ 0.44% Rb from 10m.

Detailed mapping at the Johnson Well area of Yalgoo, site of the historic lepidolite mine, has confirmed continuation of fertile pegmatites. Rock chip assays results have returned up to 0.54% Li2O and >1% Rb and drill planning is underway.

Reverse Circulation drilling program comprising of 22 holes for 589m was completed at the Johnson Well Prospect in 2023. Pegmatites were intersected in 3 of the 4 drill sections over a strike length of around 150m and appear continuous for ~120m down-dip.

Encouraging assay results were received including 3m @ 0.83% Li2O from 32m including 1m @ 1.16% Li2O from 34m (JWRC-0005).

Recent analysis of hyperspectral imagery has identified numerous potential new lithium-bearing pegmatites at the Yalgoo Lithium Project. Follow-up drilling is planned for Yalgoo region in early 2024.

At Dalgaranga, detailed geological mapping has been completed in an area to the north, with rock chips returning anomalous Li, Rb, Cs and TA values indicative of LCT pegmatites.

On-ground exploration activities are continuing at the Yalgoo and Dalgaranga Lithium Projects, including rock chip sampling and reconnaissance mapping.

NiCoMn

Mt Slopeaway Project

Located in central Queensland and contains an existing JORC 2012 compliant Inferred Mineral Resource of 4 MT @ 1% Ni, 0.2% Co and 1% Mn with substantial exploration upside.

  • The manganese-cobalt-nickel mineralisation is present within the laterite profile. The geological model developed indicates a manganese-cobalt-nickel nodule layer at the base of the limonite section.
  • Phase 1 RC drilling results exceeded historical Ni and Co assay results to confirm JORC 2012 Inferred Resource Estimate of 4Mt @ 1.0% Ni, 0.2% Co, 1.0% Mn.
CuAu

Paterson Copper-Gold Project

Located in Western Australia targeting porphyry copper-gold molybdenum across six granted tenements and one exploration application covering >1,000 km2.

The Paterson Cu-Au Project has the shallowest historical copper/gold intercepts in the Paterson region with up to 6.5% Cu, 0.99g/t Au and 1,330ppm Mo across an approximate 50m wide magnetite alteration zone.

Project data compilation and desktop studies have revealed high priority areas prospective for copper, gold, molybdenum, lead, zinc, and lithium.

Shallow high-grade copper-gold-molybdenum targets delineated by CRA exploring for uranium in the 1980s, historical drilling results include:

87WDRC2 – 17m @ 1.6% Cu, 317ppm Mo,

including 9m @ 2.6% Cu, 456ppm Mo from 84m,

87WDRC6 – 9m @ 2.0% Cu, 272ppm Mo,

including 5m @ 3.1% Cu, 430ppm Mo from 84m,

87WDRC8 – 11m @ 1.5% Cu, 181ppm Mo,

including 7m @ 2.1% Cu, 250ppm Mo from 83m, and

87WDRC14 – 13m @ 1.1% Cu

including 6m @ 2.0% Cu from 107m
